YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS
Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is a great challenge to test you mentally and physically.
It’s a long walk starting from Horton In Ribblesdale and heading to all the summits on a circular route and back to the starting point car park.
24 miles of constant walking through the beautiful Yorkshire dales. Challenge includes 1700m of ascent.
You will be supported every step along the way on this open UK challenge, demanding mental and physical determination.
ITINERARY
We meet in the National Trust car park for 6:30am with a view to start at 7:00am. Our first summit being Pen-Y-Ghent.
You will have your first taste of success in about an hour and then we push on the 7 ½ miles which takes us to Whernside our second summit.
Ingleborough being our last summit 5 miles away. Once we reach the summit of Ingleborough you will feel a massive sense of achievement. The last part of the challenge is the descent to the starting point at Horton In Ribblesdale.
